Amber Brock, Senior Learning Consultant, is the first recipient of the Adam Hayden Culture Award. Since joining Briljent in August 2023, Amber has exemplified our Non-Negotiable Items through relentless dedication, intuitive leadership, and a collaborative spirit that strengthens every team she touches.
At Briljent, culture is not a slogan. It is how we show up for one another, our clients, and our communities. That is why we are proud to recognize Amber Brock, Senior Learning Consultant, as the recipient of the 2025 Adam Hayden Culture Award.
Amber joined Briljent in the fall of 2023 and, in a short time, has become a steady, trusted presence across teams and engagements. With more than 20 years of experience in adult education, instructional design, and public-sector training, Amber brings deep expertise in instructor-led, eLearning, and hybrid learning strategies. She has supported state government and enterprise clients, translating complex policy, systems, and process changes into learning experiences that build confidence and competence.
But this award is not just about what Amber does. It is about how she does it. As one colleague shared:
“Working with Amber means knowing you’re never in it alone. She brings calm, clarity, and steady leadership to everything she does. She makes even the hardest days better just by being there.”
Throughout the past year, Amber was nominated for Briljent’s employee recognition program eight times — and she nominated others 12 times. That balance tells a powerful story. She not only delivers excellence; she sees and celebrates it in others.
Colleagues describe Amber in ways that reflect Briljent’s cultural DNA — highlighting her relentless commitment, intuitive leadership, trustworthiness, collaboration, thoughtfulness, innovation, and even what some call “superhuman” perseverance.
“Amber sets herself apart by the way she shows up for people. She’s the first to step in when something needs to get done and somehow makes every team she touches stronger. Her consistency, positivity, and genuine care for others make her impact bigger than any single project.”
“Briljent’s Non-Negotiable Items include ‘Never, Never, Never, Give Up,’ which is exactly how Amber works. Where there is a will, there is a way, and she is the person to find it. She can think outside the box to accomplish what needs to be done, which has paid off many times over.”
“Amber embodies Briljent’s culture in the most authentic way. She leads with heart, accountability, and a true team-first mindset. She moves across teams seamlessly, always focused on doing what’s best for the client and the people around her. She doesn’t just talk about collaboration; she lives it every day.”
Amber’s formal role is Senior Learning Consultant. In practice, she is often much more.
Across engagements, she has played multiple roles simultaneously — instructional designer, communications strategist, stakeholder liaison, organizational change management contributor, and even project management support. She moves seamlessly between teams, ensuring that training, communications, workforce transition, and change strategies tell one cohesive story.
“Amber has become one of the most versatile members of the team. She has stepped into several roles as the need arises — on top of being a team player, mentor, guidance counselor, and the rock of our team.”
Even in high-pressure working sessions, Amber is thinking about what people need to succeed — sometimes as strategically as aligning stakeholder messaging, and sometimes as practically as making sure there are snacks to keep energy high and conversations productive.
That combination of foresight and empathy doesn’t just define her leadership; it shapes the way she strengthens every team she joins. It shows up in the way her colleagues describe her impact and in the results she consistently delivers. They highlight her ability to:
“Amber is kind and patient, willing to make time to help support others, no matter how heavy her workload is. She sees needs and takes initiative to support before others even need to ask.”
Amber, thank you for strengthening our teams, elevating our work, and modeling what it means to be both exceptional and deeply human. Your influence is felt across roles, across functions, and across relationships.
We are proud to recognize you as the first recipient of the Adam Hayden Culture Award — and even prouder to work alongside you.
Each year, through Briljent BRAVO, our employee recognition program, we rally around a theme that reflects who we aspire to be. Every quarter, we recognize five team members who are living out our values. From those nominations, one individual is selected to receive the Adam Hayden Culture Award.
This annual award recognizes team members who exemplify Briljent’s Non-Negotiable Items (NNIs) and model our Communication Creed in action. It honors individuals who strengthen our culture through integrity, resilience, collaboration, and a people-first mindset.
