Transforming A State Agency System
A state health and human services agency was preparing to modernize a core system used by staff across dozens of locations statewide. Leadership was confident in the technology but worried about a familiar risk: strong systems that fail to gain traction because the people using them weren't truly ready. Briljent conducted structured readiness assessments across every affected site, uncovering gaps in workflow understanding and inconsistent messaging between leadership and frontline staff. Using those findings, we built a role-based training curriculum, activated a network of change champions embedded within each department, and stood up a communications plan that gave every level of the organization a clear, consistent picture of what was changing and why. The result was a smoother go-live, faster adoption, and a workforce that felt equipped, not blindsided, by the transition.
