Establishing a Centralized PMO for a Multi-Agency Health Data Initiative
Briljent recently led project management efforts for a multi-year initiative to implement a statewide health data platform to improve healthcare costs and utilization transparency. Our team served as the centralized PMO, coordinating across multiple agencies and vendor partners to ensure alignment with strategic goals, timelines, and compliance requirements.
Our PMP®-certified project manager developed and maintained a comprehensive Project Management Plan, integrating tools such as stakeholder registries, risk/issue logs, and a cloud-based task tracking system. We facilitated stakeholder engagement through structured communication plans and regular status reporting, ensuring that all parties remained informed and aligned.
Throughout the project, Briljent managed evolving priorities and scope changes through a robust change control process, while proactively mitigating risks using a graded risk management framework. Our team also supported the development of training and reporting plans, user acceptance testing coordination, and governance documentation to ensure a smooth implementation.
